1. Remove any adverse reactions: Wipe Down Surfaces: For counters, floors, and any other locations where you see ant activity, mix equal parts vinegar and water. Vinegar's job is to disrupt the scent traces.
Substitute no food sources: Get rid of any food waste, spills, or crumbs. Particularly for sugar, honey, and snack foods, be sure to store food in sealed containers.
